Guide Foreign clients: how to attract and serve them

European residents and tourists look for services in English. What they need to book with you and how to make it easy.

How they look for a service

A foreign client usually searches Google on their phone, in English, with phrases like "barber near me" or "nail salon Corralejo". They look at photos and prices and, above all, whether they can book without having to call and explain themselves in another language.

What they need to book with you

  • A website in English, not just one translated line
  • Clear services and prices, with the length of each
  • Online booking, no phone call
  • Written confirmation so there is no doubt

Make sure they find you

Your Google profile is the front door. Fill it in with your hours, photos and booking link, and reply to reviews, including those in English. If your website is in English, Google can show it to people searching in that language.

Serve them without barriers

You do not need perfect English. What builds trust is clear information before they arrive: what the service includes, how much it costs and how long it takes. If the booking and confirmation are already in their language, the conversation at your premises is much easier.

Look after the ones who return

Many residents and regular visitors come back to the island several times a year. Keeping their profile with their services and your notes lets you welcome them as if they had never left, and a timely reminder stops them forgetting the appointment between flights.

Quick checklist

  • A clear booking page, with prices and duration
  • Complete Google profile with your booking link
  • Visible prices and durations
  • Written confirmation and reminder

With Islagenda they book on their own from their phone, get the confirmation straight away and earn IslaCoins to come back.

Will you try it in your business?
